Alaskan-grown and milled Spruce tongue & groove cladding is extremely resilient and has a very high strength-to-weight ratio. It’s considered tight-grained and soft-textured, and has light silvery color blended with creamy white and honeycomb hues.

Three Grades Available:

Premium: $2.94/Linear Foot
- Selected for straightness & twist
- Free of major defects
Mixed: $2.24/Linear Foot
- Approx. 80/20 mix of premium & value grades
Value: $1.25/Linear Foot
- All rejected from premium grade
- Limited availability

The Japanese process of creating an external charred layer provides exceptional protection against weather, pests, fire, and fungi while creating a beautiful color and texture.

Our finishing team can achieve two Shou Sugi Ban finishes on select species (see images below):
